In May of 2015 Bogie was the musical director for Mix Master: Red Hot + Arthur Russell which ran for two night in the Brooklyn Academy of Music Opera House. The performance featured a case of indie music luminaries backed by an ensemble led by Bogie. The tribute to Arthur Russell included works ranging from his modern concert music, to his underground disco compositions.

In July of 2013, Bogie Music Directed the concert Red Hot Fela Live as the summer opener to the Lincoln Center Out Of Doors concert series. The concert was a first in a series curated by Kronos Quartet to celebrate their 40 year anniversary. Featured artists included Kronos Quartet, Tony Allen, Angelique Kidjo, Sahr Ngaujah (Tony nominated lead from Fela!), Abena Koomson, Sinkane, M1 of Dead Prez, Rubblebucket, Yuka Honda (Cibo Mato) and Bogie's group Superhuman Happiness. Superhuman Happiness, under Bogie's direction, served as the house band for the performances which included a live Suite of highlights from the soundtrack to How to Survive a Plague, numerous adaptations of Fela Kuti's compositions, and original pieces by each guest, including Bogie and his group Superhuman Happiness.

For several years, Bogie served as musical director/conductor for the group Antibalas. This was a job traded and shared amongst members of the group. They toured internationally and have released 5 albums.
For the album Dark was the Night, released by Red Hot, Bogie co-arranged and co-produced a cover of With a Girl Like You featuring David Sitek. Bogie served as musical director for the song at the corresponding live event at Radio City Music Hall. Their ensemble featured members of the National, Thomas Barlett, The Dap Kings horns section, and a dozen other artists in the hand claps section.
